Heaven's Day

 

i no longer project blame

on others

knowing them as but myself

yet lingering thoughts of separation persist

calling forth

many regrets for my selfishness

and unconcern for other's feelings/wants

i could slink into depression

or flagellate myself

for these perceived past sins

or bring them into now

to bless and declare them gone

with the great rays of day

which wash all sins away

of course i choose to bless

awaiting the bright shining

of heaven's day

Mourning No More

images of others
based on beliefs
of who they should be
to comfort and delight me
come in forms seemingly
unwanted
expectations unfulfilled
dreams of their identity
upsetting me
what to do?
what to think?
how to be?
a voice whispers by
"have these images die...
allow the love to show
the love they come
to bring...."

i comply...
now but singing...
letting old images go by...
sitting in mourning
no more
for lost expectations. ..
allowing, allowing, allowing
all to pass...
allowing, allowing, allowing
the light within each soul
to shine its godly light...
not a lamp i lit for them
thinking i could light the way
and keep the dark at bay...

will you 'be' with me, dear brother?

will you 'be' in that place of such allowance

where all is viewed in perfection?

yes, you are there....'being' with all....

seeing all in perfection as it is.....

i choose to 'be' with you in this....

leaving 'wanting' and 'desiring' behind.....

leaving expectations of self and others....

and owning, blessing and releasing those expectations

that rise up in me unexpectedly in a moment.....

i hear "is that possible......to live without

wants, desires and expectations.....is it possible?"

i hear "yes, it is possible......

for i choose to be

in full allowance with you

in this moment we share the space of allowance.....

we share the eternally perfect moment.....

silence.....bliss......joy......

for have they not

i dissolve them into that which they are

of seeing only that which i am

FROM WITHIN

ahhhhhhhhhhhh….greetings unto you

beloved and holy friends…

allow me for a moment in time

to speak to you of “how” you

are birthing your new reality…

you are expanding it from within…

you are birthing it from within

your Self…

as you are doing this…

as you are releasing all that

is in truth unlike love

within your very self

you are expanding the kingdom within…

for now

you will find your peace…

your joy…

mostly within

moments spent within

your inner kingdom

filled with the love of your

true Self…

spending time with the Self…

thanking the Self…

asking to know ever more deeply

and ever more deeply

the “mystery” of this Self

who loves you beyond imaginings…

quality time spent with Self

is now an appropriate way “to be”….

this will continue to expand

that which is love

until in the blinking of an eye

your “outer world” will

become  that which “you are”

will become that which you

have birthed from the inside out….

do not be discouraged by

your outer world

not reflecting as of yet

that which you know to be

true….

see thru the illusion

and know that every single

cell….every atom…

every “thing” you could possibly

ever imagine that is life

(which all is)

is held in the loving arms

of Abba…

and you are that….!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU ARE ABBA!!!!

you are all that is….

this is your creation dear one…

you are the one who is

bringing heavens essence

into the unreal world… lifting the veil…

that which has been laid over

heaven itself….

so….

allow me to be that

WHICH I AM….

I AM the voice of right mindedness

within your very self…

I became that voice

when I birthed the holy spirit

by my own journey in time….

I planted the seed well

that would be birthed by

many who would

awaken to their purpose…

you are bringing the “all”

home to itself…

ITSELF  “IS THE ALL”

i fainted

i fainted

and lay unconscious
for almost a minute
blood pressure had fallen
to 70/40
any lower and there
would be none...
off to the hospital
to have them check...
could find no cause
could find no cure...
then circumstances
i created with my
wanting what i wanted
had me angered...
pressure raised
to 160/110
(with anger you really
have your blood boil)
why would someone
as enlightened as me
need to go thru this
idon't know and
i don't care
i leave it in the
arms of Love and say
'tell me what you may
as i need to know
i trust your way
and simply will
accept each day"

  "I Don't Know.  I Don't Care.  And, It Doesn't Really Matter."

  "I Don't Know"      Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting  down to dinner with a fellow author and a few students.  One of my students said to me,  "Kevin, I really liked that part of your  lecture the other day where you said, `I don't know, I don't care, and it doesn't really matter.'"  (I read it off of my Zen calendar).  My friend didn't understand the  statement, nor did she agree with it,  until I broke it down into three  sections and explained  each one at length.  First, the statement,  "I don't know."       It is amazing to me when I sit down with couples for spiritual relationship counseling,  how many of them presume to  know what their futures hold.

       In fact, much of the difficulty in 
  relationships arises because so much of our time is wasted worrying about tomorrow - "How are we going to pay the bills?  What if my husband meets someone at work?  Are my kids going to be okay at summer camp?"  Our time is wasted thinking we know what tomorrow will hold, or for that matter, the next minute of our lives.  It is simply presumptuous to assume that we know what the future holds, and what is in our own best interest.  We don't.  We never have known and we never will!  "I Don't Know" are the three most liberating words we can utter.  Unfortunately, they can also be the most terrifying words we can say because we want to believe that we do know what the future holds.  
       I am reminded of the words of Jesus in the Christian tradition, and I paraphrase:  Consider the lilies how they toil not, neither do they spin, and yet they grow!  How much of our day is spent where our thoughts are toiling and spinning, wondering, worrying, hoping, reaching and grasping for something else, something better, something more?  Too much, I would guess.  What if we did the exact opposite and trusted in a greater Being to guide us upon this path we have chosen?  What if we just stepped back and allowed that light within us all to step forward, to guide us through every experience?  God's plan for us is much greater, my friends, than anything we could ever orchestrate or contrive on our own. 
       I will leave you with a quote from the movie, The Shadowlands about the life of C.S. Lewis.  He and his wife Joy are standing in the rain in Oxford , England .  He whispers to his wife, Joy, who was suffering with cancer, "I don't want to be somewhere else anymore.  I don't want anything new to happen to me.  I'm not looking around the next corner, or over the next hill.  I'm here now, and that's enough."  My dear brothers and sisters, we may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know who holds tomorrow, and He is holding our hands.
  "I Don't Care"
       On the surface, this may seem to be a very harsh statement.  However, let's look at it carefully.  "I don't care."  Does it seem so cold if I added the scripture, "Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for us."?   I'm not suggesting that we not extend compassion and love to others during trying times.  I'm simply submitting that we do not add one whit to our lives by caring so much about something or someone, expending so much energy on others that we sap our own health and power in the process.  Yes, we should love others as we would want to be loved.  Yes, we should treat others as we would want to be treated.  But, too often "caring" is nothing more than a guise for worrying, straining, and trying to carry a burden that we were never meant to carry.  God's yoke is easy.  God's burden is light!  When caring becomes a strain, it is an indication that we are not caring, but rather giving our power away to something, or to someone, to take our peace away. 
       The world has it backwards.  It teaches that we must "care" so much, to orchestrate people and things in order to achieve some semblance of peace.  The opposite is true.  We must first accept peace for ourselves before we can see it unfold "outside" of ourselves.  We cannot, for instance, say that we do not want war, when we have one raging within our thoughts on a daily basis.   If we want to experience true peace, we must allow ourselves to experience the comfort of it ourselves first.   When this happens, our hearts and minds will open where we can genuinely care for the world by giving to it what it is so desperately crying out for - love.
  "It Doesn't Really Matter"
       This is perhaps the hardest of the three to accept. I'm reminded of a statement in A Course In Miracles-Original Edition :
  

  If you but knew that every event, past, present, and to come, are gently planned by One whose only purpose is your good, fear would be impossible.

       This is an astounding statement!! If I had a dime for every time I looked at my life and said to myself, "I don't know what this means," I'd have at least thirty dollars! Yet, this is the exact statement we should tell ourselves. Nothing truly matters because reality is perfectly comforting at all times. It is only when we place our interpretation, our meaning upon life, when things go awry. "I don't have a job; this must mean I'm a failure!" Or, "I'm making millions; this must mean I'm a success!" Or, "I'm in the hospital; this must mean I'm dying." All of these statements are what we think is the meaning of what we're going through.
       What if we allowed God's meaning to take the place of what we think this world is all about? "It Doesn't Really Matter" because everything that is happening to us is happening for a reason. We may not understand it, we may not be able to wrap our heads around it, but underneath every appearance, regardless of the form it takes, there is a higher plan that is unfolding. Often times, we do not see it because we are too busy dictating to the world what it means instead of allowing God to dictate to us what this world means. This takes great courage. This requires us to leap empty into the void and trust in that unchanging, unchanged, and unchangeable Spirit that is moving through everything.
       The statement, "Trust would solve every problem now," is true. But, this must be more than just a concept. It must be an experience. As things change before our eyes, the tears will fall. But these tears are not good, nor are they bad, they just are!
       I am reminded of a story about a woman whose son had just been killed in war. She visited an eastern mystic who said to her, "I cannot teach you to wipe away your tears. I can only teach you how to make them holy."
       In other words, let's stop judging ourselves and others when the unthinkable happens. Let's just let the tears flow (they are the safety valve of the heart when too much pressure is laid upon it, as someone once said) and let the feelings come without judging them, e.g.:"This is guilt! This is regret! This is jealousy!" Instead, let them come and burn within the very fibers of your being. Why? That fire is burning away everything that isn't you, the real You – a holy child of a holy God.
       "It Doesn't Really Matter" can be summed up by a phrase in the Tao Te Ching: "What difference between yes and no? What difference between success and failure? Must you value what others value, and avoid what others avoid? How ridiculous!"

dissolving into that which I AM…

there is no other…!!!!!

no bodies….no trees…no birds…

no separation….

simply loves dance

that shows up in form

this day…

love appearing as a bird…

love appearing as you

love appearing as this

chair I sit upon…

all come from within me

I am within all things

that I witness in each now moment…

all I see is simply

a thought

coming from within me

manifesting itself

for my delight!!!

I see myself

I love myself

I rest in gratitude

for all that I create….

I am simply a point of awareness

that witnesses

the “ presence”…

that which in truth

I AM

all else I think I see

is coming from a belief

held deep within me…

I AM ALL THAT IS…

divinity is witnessed

as I dissolve the small self

into the ONE SELF

as I allow my earthly eyes

to see that which

“breathes” all that I witness…

`I AM THE ESSENCE OF LOVE

and that very essence

is in all things…

no other belief is true…

the labels that have restricted

I am the heart that lives

within all things...

is "my body"

when I take all labels off

of that which i see...

son...child...

and reclaim the truth

i am only witnessing

myself...

all I see flows from within me

and receives me

and returns its self

to me...

this is the beginning of

the New Lemuria....

it has in truth already happened...

it is our future

yet we must choose

"to bring it into view"

yes...

we are the choosers...

the energy here now is free...

free meaning fluid....changeable...

the past is gone...

the eternal now is all i witness

and

i am the very power

that can alter the now

by choosing for love...

i am awake

that is enough....

faces of those around
all blend into a neutral meld

i drink all in
knowing but my perception
making it real for me
i may see it just as dark
i may see it all as lit

shining surfaces catching all

with separate parts

"Are We alone in the Universe?"
we ask within the illusion we call duality...
others of non-human bent than we
can share our illusion...
yet consciously creating their own...
knowing us as not alone in this illusion...

in the unconscious experience of it...
in "new now'" is the time
of contact with and joining with
conscious creators other than the "we' we know...
experiencing the streaming life
expressing all about.....
so eager to share their creations
with us as one...
